Fatal Fever Dream

FATAL FEVER DREAM is an atmospheric FPS that fuses Quake-style speed with lite metroidvania exploration. Take control of the Interloper - slipgating between hostile dreamscapes, hunting the scattered Aeon Fragments on a path toward Gnosis.

Features

• Fast, fluid movement - Full Quake/Source-styled player controller with bunny hopping, air strafing, crouch sliding, dashing, coyote time, jump buffering and more.
• Fever & Flawless meters - Kill streaks build Fever for bonus damage; accurate shooting builds Flawless for evasion that protects your streak. Push both for a high-risk, high-reward power spike.
• Contextual shield - Block or deflect depending on your timing.
• Rune Abilities - Combat and traversal powers.
• Two difficulties - Standard Mode for casual play; Nightmare Mode adds extra enemies that grow more dangerous as your meters rise.
• Extensive options - Customizable mouse/keyboard/gamepad keybindings, aim assist, rumble, FOV, screen shake, FPS cap, CRT filter, bullet tracers, shield deflect lock-on, damage numbers, movement speed.

Demo 1 includes

• 3 levels: a tutorial vault, an occult horror lodge, and a dusk-drenched factory town.
• 6 weapons + 5 abilities + 10 enemies + 2 bosses
• An estimated game length of 30-45 minutes (your mileage may vary)

NOTE: This project is still in alpha so many things are subject to change. A second demo will be released this fall, so feedback is appreciated!

System requirements: Windows 10/11 (64-bit), a Vulkan or DirectX 12 capable GPU. ~400 MB download.
